India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is now making its mark internationally as well. UPI services have been launched in several countries, making digital payments easier for Indian travellers and residents. UPI services are available in the following countries:
Bhutan
Malaysia
UAE (United Arab Emirates)
Singapore
Oman
Qatar
Russia
France
Sri Lanka
Mauritius
Additionally, the Government of India and the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) are working to expand UPI services in other countries as well. Agreements have been signed with Peru and Namibia, which will establish real-time payment systems like UPI in these countries as well.
The international expansion of UPI services will provide Indian travellers the convenience of cashless payments abroad, making transactions simple and secure. However, foreign exchange rates and bank charges may apply while making international payments, so it is advisable to check the relevant details before transacting.

भारत का यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) अब अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भी अपनी पहचान बना रहा है। कई देशों में UPI सेवाएं शुरू की जा चुकी हैं, जिससे भारतीय यात्रियों और वहां के निवासियों को डिजिटल भुगतान में आसानी हो रही है। निम्नलिखित देशों में UPI सेवाएं उपलब्ध हैं:

इसके अतिरिक्त, भारत सरकार और नेशनल पेमेंट्स कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (NPCI) अन्य देशों में भी UPI सेवाओं के विस्तार के लिए प्रयासरत हैं। पेरू और नामीबिया के साथ समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए हैं, जिससे इन देशों में भी UPI जैसी रियल-टाइम पेमेंट प्रणाली स्थापित की जाएगी।
UPI सेवाओं का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विस्तार भारतीय यात्रियों को विदेशों में कैशलेस भुगतान की सुविधा प्रदान करेगा, जिससे लेन-देन सरल और सुरक्षित होगा। हालांकि, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय भुगतान करते समय विदेशी मुद्रा विनिमय दर और बैंक शुल्क लागू हो सकते हैं, इसलिए लेन-देन से पहले संबंधित विवरणों की जांच करना उचित होगा।
